Despite that bombshell that was dropped on them re: the murdergame, Barnham's got things to do and people to see. Okay no, mostly just things to do. He searches the town top to bottom once more, but in the end, naturally, he finds nothing.

And when the evening strikes...he eventually has to go back to his room.

Not that he's dreading it or anything, but... he's kind of dreading it. Sharing a room with a gorgeous but somewhat terrifying woman is unheard of; he's knightly and old-fashioned and chivalrous, so this sort of thing goes against all of his morals. She seems fine with it but...

Well. It's something he just has to deal with.

[Having the Grand Reveal of this place sprung on them like that... well, it takes even Barnham some time to come to terms with it. The best use of his time, he thinks, is to analyze this place and try to find any clues for how to get out of here.
