[It's only to be expected that he needed a walk to clear his head after everything they'd been told had been allowed to sink in.
After all... it's a pretty hefty thing to hear. Even for someone like him, who is constantly dealing with murders...it's quite a lot.
Eventually, he does find his way to the kitchen, if only to find something to feed to Constantine, faithfully waiting for him back in his room--and he's only mildly surprised to find it already occupied.
